Results Count (or counting results)

Some people in Christian work argue AGAINST counting people or results. They will point to David, King of Israel, who took a census of fighting age men to determine if he could win a battle. God judged David for that act.

On the other hand, Luke includes plenty of numbers in his record of the early church in Acts.

This issue seems to be correctly determining WHAT to count and for what you plan to use the numbers. I heard the following and thought it was compelling. What do you think?

Reasons to Measure (Count)
1. To keep faith with our vision
2. To learn from what we do
3. To account for what we describe
4. To celebrate God’s faithfulness

Info About Derry Township People

I pulled the following from ZIPskinny.com. The creators make the point that they try to be accurate but this info is only 'first-glance' demographic material. The figures are taken from 2000 US Census.

I won't write any observations or interpretations. Just look around and be amazed at some of the stats for Hershey.
